Development of novel benzofuran-based SLC-0111 analogs as selective cancer-associated carbonic anhydrase isoform IX inhibitors

In the present study, we describe the design of different series of benzofuran-based derivatives as potential carbonic anhydrase inhibitors (CAIs).
