Abstract
The effects of SiC on microstructure and properties of plasma sprayed ZrB2–ZrC composite coating were investigated. Plasma sprayed ZrB2–ZrC and ZrB2–ZrC–SiC composite coatings were prepared and compared. The addition of SiC could improve the density of the ZrB2–ZrC–SiC coating that lead to better mechanical properties.
