Cavitation erosion resistance of high-entropy FeCoCrNiMoXB0.2 coatings cladded by laser
Abstract
The cavitation erosion resistance of high-entropy FeCoCrNiMoXB0.2(X = 0, 0.5, 1), coatings cladded by laser was studied. The test was processed by a magnetostrictive cavitation method in both distilled water and 3.5 wt-% NaCl solution. It was observed that the mass-loss rate of the coatings rarely increased or even decreased in the first few hours.
