Since the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic first emerged in early 2020, the dimensions, duration and effects of the epidemic have not been fully predicted, so serious concerns have been raised in societies.So that with panic in the early stages of the epidemic, there were problems and conflicts among the developed countries regarding the supply of basic health equipment such as masks and respirators.Scientific articles published during the epidemic provided the most intense flow of information to the literature in all time.A process was experienced able to complicate the problem thoroughly rather than resolve it, including the spread of speculative and unverified information and that can be described as a "pandemic infodemic" in a period when it is very easy to deliver instant information to target audiences via social media and internet journalism.In this period, health and science journalism, which has a critical importance in shaping the expectations and behaviors regarding public health, assumed an important responsibility in bringing the true information and new developments to the public and clarifying the issues that cause concern.In this article, it is aimed to make a brief analysis of the information in an article published as a press interview in the early stages of the epidemic, with a different perspective based on new developments and current literature information.
