Glycol chitosan (GC) is a hydrophilic chitosan derivative, known for its aqueous solubility. Previously, we have demonstrated the feasibility of preparing injectable, enzymatically crosslinked hydrogels from HPP [3-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-propionic acid (98%)]-modified GC.
