We longitudinally assessed speech intelligibility (percent words correct/ pwc ), communication efficiency (intelligible words per minute/ iwpm ), temporal control markers (speech and pause coefficients of variation), and formant frequencies associated with lip motion in a 41-year-old face transplant recipient.
