Abstract
Inspired by mussel adhesion proteins, boron nitride (BN) particles coated with homogeneous polydopamine (BNPDA) were prepared, and through an annealing process, a carbonized PDA layer on the surface of BN was obtained, which exhibited a nanocrystalline graphite-like structure.
