Abstract
A proper orthogonal decomposition (POD)-based polynomial chaos expansion (PCE) is utilized in this article for the uncertainty quantification (UQ) of an impact dynamic oscillator. The time-dependent nonsmooth behavior and the uncertainties are decoupled using the POD approach.
