Abstract
In this work, we developed β-lactoglobulin nanofibrils by alkaline-thermal activation methods for Pb removal. The protein fibrils exhibited effective adsorption and selectivity for lead (II) removal, even with coexisting Ca2+/Mg2+/Na+ ions at higher concentrations.
