Abstract
High-cycle fatigue crack initiation and propagation in an equiatomic CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloy were investigated using smooth specimens. The microstructural deformation characteristics, i.e., planar dislocation slip, significantly affected the fatigue crack initiation and small fatigue crack propagation.
