Abstract
Chitosan is a promising biopolymer to be used as environmentally friendly materials for corrosion protection. In this work, two novel chitosan derivatives (CS-1 and CS-2) were synthesized as eco-friendly inhibitors and their inhibitive performances for the corrosion of Q235 mild steel in 1 M HCl solution were evaluated by electrochemical measurements and surface characterization.
