Double Elevator Palsy, Ptosis, and Jaw Winking
Abstract
Charts from 30 patients with the diagnosis of double elevator palsy (DEP) were reviewed. True ptosis was found in 17 or 56.6%. Of the 17 patients with ptosis, five also demonstrated the Marcus-Gunn “jaw winking” phenomenon.
