Three new aromatic compounds named fistuloates: A (3-butyl-6-ethylnonyl-3-(1-phenylethyl) benzoate), B (3-(6- tert-butyl-1-ethoxy-5-ethyl-4-methylnonyl)-5-ethylbenzoic acid isobutyl ester) and C (4,5-diethoxy-2-propylbenzoic acid 7-(6-pentyltetrahydropyran-2-yl)-heptyl ester) were isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Cassia fistula Linn.
