Objectives: A tenosynoival giant cell tumor known as pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a rare, benign, yet locally aggressive neoplasm arising from the synovium. Although most frequently encountered in the knee joint, PVNS is secondly most commonly seen in the hip joint.
