Abstract
This review aims to discuss the use of fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET/CT) for diagnosis and management of patients with large-vessel vasculitis (LVV). Incidence of LVV is likely underestimated, in part due to its non-specific symptoms.
