Abstract
Hollow carbon spheres (HCSs) were prepared from sugar alcohols encapsulated in UV-cured polymer which were hydrothermally treated in solutions of carbon precursors and carbonised at different temperatures in the presence or absence of graphitisation catalysts (Fe(III) and Ni(II)).
