Abstract
Herein, we describe a facile and convenient approach leading to the synthesis of α‐ketoamides by dehydrogenative coupling between sp 2 terminal carbonyl carbon of aryl glyoxals and N−H of amines using catalytic amount of DABCO under the assistance of aerial oxygen.
