This paper provides description of the algorithm of statistical detection, which was adapted for seismic pulses occurring in grid nodes of the location during hydraulic fracturing. The algorithm provides high quality detection of seismic signals with random initial phase of seismic pulse, occurring when rock of productive reservoir is being broken.

This work aims to advance computational methods for projection-based reduced order models (ROMs) of linear time-invariant (LTI) dynamical systems. For such systems, current practice relies on ROM formulations expressing the state as a rank-1 tensor (i.e., a vector), leading to computational kernels that are memory bandwidth bound and, therefore, ill-suited for scalable performance on modern many-core and hybrid computing nodes. This weakness can be particularly limiting when tackling many-query ...

A possibility of assessing the level of wear of artillery barrels by acoustic fields of shots was studied. Despite the importance of knowledge on the current barrel state, existing methods of wear assessment are not sufficiently prompt. These methods give rather rough estimates of wear or require expensive equipment. Unlike the known methods, the method proposed in the article is prompt, does not require large expenses, can be combined with a training firing, and is easily automated. Characteris...
