Abstract
The general review of cross section formulas for the photoelectric effect, Compton scattering, pair and triplet production is presented in the intermediate and high photon energy spectrum for carbon (Z = 6). Using the classical Gaussian regression method, the empirical correction functions for the theoretical cross section formulas are calculated based on the existing experimental data.
