Abstract
In order to protect graphite materials from oxidation, a dense single layer ZrB2-MoSi2-SiC-Si coating was for the first time prepared on the surface of graphite substrate by slurry dipping and vapor silicon infiltration process. The phase compositions and microstructure of the prepared coating were analyzed by XRD and SEM. The isothermal thermal cycle oxidation tests were conducted at 1600 °C in air.
