Preliminary measurements for a sub-femtosecond electron bunch length diagnostic

Abstract
With electron beam durations down to femtoseconds and sub-femtoseconds achievable in current state-of-the-art accelerators, longitudinal bunch length diagnostics with resolution at the attosecond level are required.
