Abstract
Coverage and lifetime are two paramount problems in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, a method called Multiround Distributed Lifetime Coverage Optimization protocol (MuDiLCO) is proposed to maintain the coverage and to improve the lifetime in wireless sensor networks.
