Abstract
The nanosheet boehmite (AlOOH) was synthesized and used as reinforcing agent to toughen carbon fiber-reinforced polymers. The purity, morphology, size and composition of the AlOOH nanosheets were investigated by the methods of XRD, SEM, TEM and FTIR, respectively.
