A Pd(II)-catalyzed aerobic intermolecular 1,2-diamination of conjugated dienes was developed for the regio- and chemoselective preparation of a variety of functionalized tetrahydroquinoxalines, using simple sulfonyl protected o-phenylendiamines as a nitrogen source.
