Abstract
In this work, a simple hydrothermal route for the synthesis of fluorescent nitrogen doped carbon dots (N-CDs) is reported. The Hylocereus undatus (H. undatus) extract and aqueous ammonia are used as carbon and nitrogen source, respectively.
