Abstract
Pilots’ complaints about remarkable impacts of B737-400 landing gears during operations at the runway 16/34 of Talara Airport, Peru, motivated this investigation. Aircraft-pavement interaction studies were carried out and they allowed the selection of an optimized strategy for the rehabilitation of the bad areas of the runway. As a consequence, the total costs for the recuperation of those pavement areas were reduced to 35 % of the total costs...
