Two new lupane saponins from Schefflera kwangsiensis

Two new lupane saponins, Schekwanglupasides A and B (1 and 2), together with three esters (3–5) of known lupane saponins were isolated from the aerial parts of Schefflera kwangsiensis. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis and chemical evidence.
