Here analyzed are the maximum dent working spacings for oil and gas pipelines with coaxial distribution of the dents and the dent depth to pipeline wall thickness ratio varying from 20% to 80%.The interactions of neighboring dents at different spacings and their impact on the stress distribution of the pipeline are studied using finite element analysis software ANSYS100 based upon the site mechanical damage conditions and field testing...
