Abstract
The influence of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of isotropic pyrolytic carbon prepared by chemical vapor deposition was studied by TEM, SEM, XRD, polarized light metallography, laser Raman spectroscopy, microhardness and three-point bend tests.
