Dielectric and X-Ray Studies of KNO₃-Series Mixed Crystals

First the dielectric properties of rubidium-potassium nitrate mixed crystals were investigated. From the X -ray measurement, the D - E hysteresis loop observation, and the dielectric constant measurement, these Rb x K 1- x No 3 mixed crystals, of which there may exist a mixing limit at some molar ratio between 0.52 and 0.56, were found to be also ferroelectric in the phase III on cooling alone, as in pure KNO 3 , in contrast to the case of (NH 4...
