Abstract
To increase the oxidation resistance of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites at high temperature, it was modified by ZrB2–SiC ceramics with precursor infiltration and pyrolysis process, then SiC coating was prepared on the modified composites by pack cementation. The results show that the SiC coating prepared with Si/C weight ratio of 6:0.5 has better oxidation resistance, It can effectively protect C/C composites for 100 h at 1773 K with the weight...
