Abstract
Like part of the Latin American project DURACON, which must by objective characterize the concrete durability exposed in ruling environmental conditions in Ibero America. The results of 4 months of exhibition of specimens to the atmosphere of the city of Xalapa, Mexico are evaluate. The specimens made with two types of concretes, relation water/cement 0,45 and 0,65, and in addition three thicknesses to covering, 1,5, 2,0 and 3,0 cm. The tests to evaluate the susceptibility to the corrosion of the reinforcement steel, went resistance to the linear polarization and evaluation of corrosion potentials on the basis to norm ASTM C-876.
