Abstract
The purpose of this project is to test the effectiveness of using polyvinyl chloride (PVC) structural angles to increase the capacity of reinforced concrete (RC) beams. Two ½-scale beams with different reinforcement configurations were loaded to approximately twice the yield displacement, unloaded, and subsequently repaired and reloaded to failure.
