Abstract
An optimal preoperative evaluation is fundamental to the assessment of all patients undergoing cardiac surgery. We report the case of a male patient who underwent elective coronary artery bypass surgery, and intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) revealed an unexpected left atrial cavernous hemangioma.
