Abstract
Nemaline myopathies are a group of genetically determined (autosomal dominant/recessive) congenital myopathies characterized by the formation of nemaline rods within muscle fibers. Congenital, childhood, and adult forms with hypotonia, proximal muscle and facial weakness, and skeletal deformities have been described.
