Abstract
The condition for progressive debonding with friction along the debonded interface is considered for the bridging fiber in the crack-wake of fiber-reinforced ceramic composites. The energy-based criterion is adopted in the present study to analyze the debond length, the crack-opening displacement, and the displacement of the composite due to interfacial debonding.
