Abstract
The genus Tylopus currently contains 41 species, all keyed and mapped, including five new from northern Thailand: T. bispinosus sp. n., T. grandis sp. n., T. extremus sp. n., T. veliger sp. n. and T. parajeekeli sp. n. Their distributions show clear preponderance to forest dwelling, especially in montane habitats where up to 9-10 species can coexist per faunule.
