The first results from experiments for obtaining photoelectric cells from CdS with minimized Cu impurities, based on a p-layer formation treatment in a solution containing Bi ions, are given. The basic characteristics of converters with time-stable parameters and efficiency 3−5% are investigated. The heterojunction is probably between CdS: Cu and one of the bismuth-sulfide modifications.
