Abstract
The core–shell structure cathode material Li(Ni 0.8 Co 0.15 Al 0.05 ) 0.8 (Ni 0.5 Mn 0.5 ) 0.2 O 2 null (LNCANMO) was synthesized via a co-precipitation method. Its applicability as a cathode material for lithium ion batteries was investigated. The core–shell particle consists of LiNi 0.8 Co 0.15 Al 0.05 O 2 null (LNCAO) as the core and a LiNi 0.5 Mn 0.5 O 2 null as the shell.
