Emergence in Japan of an imipenem-susceptible, meropenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae carrying blaIMP-6

We identified 5 Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates showing high resistance to β-lactams except imipenem and designated them ISMRK (imipenem-susceptible but meropenem-resistant Klebsiella).
