Abstract
Haemangioma of the rib is an extremely uncommon condition. Preoperative diagnosis of a rib haemangioma is difficult as most patients are asymptomatic and the lesion is discovered incidentally. Most often the identity of the tumour, as in our case, can only be established after excision biopsy.
