Intrinsic fault tolerance of multilevel Monte Carlo methods
Abstract
Monte Carlo (MC) and multilevel Monte Carlo (MLMC) methods applied to solvers for Partial Differential Equations with random input data are proved to exhibit intrinsic failure resilience.
