Mitochondrial changes in acute myopathy after treatment of respiratory failure with mechanical ventilation (acute relaxant-steroid myopathy)

A case of acute myopathy was observed in the course of treatment of respiratory failure with mechanical ventilation combined with prolonged neuromuscular blockade and administration of corticosteroids.
