Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an outstanding tool for the identification and characterization of mesenteric masses. Mesenteric masses may be solid or cystic. Most solid mesenteric masses are neoplastic, with sclerosing mesenteritis a notable exception. Entirely cystic mesenteric masses are typically benign.
