Abstract null null Ascending aortic is an uncommon site for arterial thrombosis and ascending aortic thrombosis is a very rare phenomenon with a high fatality rate. Marijuana is the most commonly used psychoactive drug in the United States and a few cases have been reported on the association of marijuana with vascular thromboembolism. However, the pathophysiology and exact mechanism are still not well studied. Herein, we present a case of a 44-year-old female with active marijuana use presented...

These tumors most frequently metastasise to the liver and peritoneum and rarely to the lungs. We present a rare case of mucinous breast cancer in a 74-year-old male patient detected after he presented with a retroareolar mass. The patient underwent m...

Abstract null null Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis (CXG) is a rare entity of cholecystitis, characterized by the presence of xanthogranulomas within the gallbladder wall, that could be misdiagnosed as a vesicular carcinoma. We report a case of 66-year-old man with xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis associated with an incidental finding of a fusion of the planes of the liver which is a rare anatomic variant. Imaging especially ultrasounds, CT scan, and MRI play a key role in the characterization...

Abstract null null Omental lymphangioma is a rare pathology presented in the abdomen, and it can mimic several clinical conditions. Owing to its variable signs and symptoms, making a correct diagnosis by clinicians may be difficult. Surgical excision is the gold standard treatment. In this article, we report a case who presented with nonspecific abdominal complaints, and underwent surgery. Final pathologic diagnosis revealed omental cystic lymphangioma.
