Abstract A novel brush-like poly(2-aminoethyl methacrylate) (PAEMA) was grafted onto chitosan (CS) through gamma radiation-induced polymerization. The copolymer (CS-g-PAEMA) was used to prepare a sodium acetate leached poly(urethane-urea) scaffold.
