Introduction: We report the first isolated case in Mexico of infection by Chryseobacterium indologenes, an emerging pathogen in immunocompromised patients. Case presentation: The examined case was a 59-year-old male who had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, had received a bone marrow transplant, and had been hospitalized for 21 days.
