In this work, nanocomposites with simultaneous dispersion of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and montmorillonite clays in an epoxy matrix were prepared by in situ polymerization. Abstract The addition of nanoparticles has been reported as an option to increase the fracture toughness of thermosetting polymers without compromising the stiffness.
