This work shows the evaluation of the glass transition temperature (T g ) by DMTA of three different families of repaired polymeric composites, manufactured with carbon fiber fabric/epoxy F584, glass fabric/epoxy F161 and aramide fabric/epoxy F161, respectively. The composites were laminated by conventional hand lay-up process used in aeronautical industry. The interlaminar stresses are confined to a region near the free edge. Therefore, the laminate stacking sequence and the free edge finishing are some of the factors that affect the strength of the laminate and limit its life. The use of molded edges eliminates the need for trimming and machining the laminates edges thus improving productivity.
