Yield and composition of seed oil (SO) from eight variants of prickly pear were evaluated. Oil extraction was performed by maceration-percolation (MP) and by cold press (CP). Abstract CuO and ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized at room-temperature following a novel, direct, high-yield (>91%) and green method based on a mechanically activated metathesis reaction.
